This supplier is a small scale company based in the Kashmir region of India. They support traditional and ‘old-age’ skills such as kantha, papier mache, embroidery, mehendi work and block printing. The company employs 300 men and women, most of whom work from home, and pay a fair wage with bonuses. They measure their water and energy consumption and set targets to reduce their consumption in order to be proactive in environmental awareness.
